Happy Halloween!

Well, as October comes to a close, so does another Halloween.  This year, my boys were excited about it.  They enjoyed helping to decorate the house.  They counted down to the day that they could wear their new costumes and go trick or treating.  It was so much fun to watch them enjoying it!

We had a busy weekend.  Football game on Friday, Adult Costume Party on Saturday, and Halloween on Sunday.  I leave you with some pictures of my scary sons!  =)

New and Exciting Things...

Well, the first six weeks is over, and we have all survived!  =)  RJ is doing extremely well in school.  His TPRI scores and classroom assessments over Social Studies, ELA, Math, and Science, are great!  He read his first book by himself this week!  We made a big deal about it, of course!!!  He also got Perfect Attendance for the 1st six weeks!!  He received a ribbon at school for this.  He was proud of himself.  Last week was Fire Safety Week.  He learned about "stop, drop, and roll" and fire drills.  The Bay City FD brought a fire truck to their school and took the Kindergarteners for a ride!

About Trevor - He is learning a lot more each and every day, including testing his parents' patience!  =)  His daycare will have a parade this week to celebrate the Bay City Lion's Club's Rice Festival. I have taken off the morning so that I can attend the parade!

Until next time.....

October is Here Already

It's hard to believe how quickly time flies.  It seems like just yesterday, we were beginning a new school year.  Now, here we are preparing for the 2nd six weeks already!

On Tuesday, October 5th, RJ will receive his very first report card!  I have a conference scheduled with Mrs. Brown in order for her to explain it to us.

We are halfway through football season.  5 games down, and 5 more to go (then maybe some more).

The boys are growing taller, stronger, and smarter every day.  I can't get over how much they soak in, just like a sponge.  They make me proud!

Well, here's to another great weekend and week.  Until next time.....
