Big News!!!

Well, after 11 years in education (9 in the classroom), I am moving up!  I have been offered and have accepted, and have been board approved to be the new Coordinator of Mathematics K-12 in Goose Creek CISD.  I will begin my new endeavor May 16th. 

Proud Mom!

I am a proud mom!  Tonight, RJ earned his Tiger Badge in Cub Scouts.  He has been working hard on all of his achievements that brought him to this point.  In addition to earning his Tiger Badge, he received his certificate for "Most Reflective Car" at the Pinewood Derby Races.  So proud of him!

Valentine's Day 2012

Valentine's Day fell on a Tuesday.  Since we all had to go to work and school, we decided that we would do gifts in the afternoon.  My sweet RJ had bought the rest of us a gift.  He was so excited to share what he had spent his money on!  He bought Robert a small blow up beach ball, Trevor a coloring book, and me a teddy bear!  So cute!  I love his heart!  Robert and I got the boys sports balls and chocolate!  Robert and I also went on a date that night. I believe that it was our first Valentine's Day date since 2001.  We normally celebrate at home.  I love my boys and enjoy sharing my love with them.

Silence is Golden

Wow...I can't believe it's been since the beginning of November since I last posted.  Life has definitely been happening around here.  Let's see if I can recap.

*  November - The end of football season; Camping at Village Creek State Park; Thibodeaux Thanksgiving at our house

*  December - Camping at Lake Whitney State Park with the Markhams; Christmas at home in Livingston

*  January - Ringing in the New Year with friends in Lake Jackson; Camping at Lake Livingston State Park; Signing up for baseball; the beginning of High School Baseball Season

Football Is...Over

Well...it was a long hard battle, however, the Lions came up short last night against Vidor.  We are done.  There will be no playoffs for us this year.  RJ was pretty upset, Trevor doesn't really know what to think, and Robert was frustrated.  All in All, it was a great season.  We ended up 7-3 - all 3 losses in District Play.

Friday Night Frenzy

Well, we are deep in the heart of Football Season.  The Lions are 3-1 in District.  We lost to Nederland and we beat Central, PN-G, and Lumberton.

Life is Precious, Life is Sweet....Life is BUSY as can be!!

Well, another week has come and gone.  Sometimes I don't know whether I'm coming or going.  I'm actually looking forward to this next week.  I don't think that we have as much planned as normal.  Maybe that's just wishful thinking.  =)

For those of you that read this, R.J. has joined Cub Scouts.  They are selling popcorn.  If you would like to purchase some, please let me know, and I will send you in the right direction.

The Livingston Lions are now 5-0.  We traveled to Beaumont on Friday to beat Central.  This Friday, we will travel to Nederland and try to put a hurting on the Bulldogs.  It was good to see my parents and my prayer parents.
